Valentines Adventure!

The Infamous Dr. Pepper

Brandon and I never really celebrate valentines day, but this year we piggybacked onto the Peterson's valentines date. :-). We had the best time ever! We love Briette and Brett so much. They are like family. We actually refer to them as the blonde version of Brandon and Sara. Haha! The night turned out to be quite a little adventure for us.
It all started out with us going to this beautiful restaurant on the beach. We were seated right away and ordered our drinks( everyone had water but me). I ordered a Dr. Pepper. When I got it, it tasted funny and not right to me. I thought maybe it was a coke. I told the waitress and she got all annoyed with me. Smiling and laughing, She said,"I saw them open the can and pour it in." wow. Whatever happened to the customer is always right?! AND how ghetto is that? Shouldn't it come from a fountain? I asked Brandon to taste it and he said it was Dr.Pepper. Way to stick up for your woman. Lol. So I brushed it off and laughed about it UNTIL I needed a refill. That waitress actually had the nerve to bring the can out and fill the glass in front of me! Are you serious? Why do I attract people like that? I never even made that big of deal about it in the first place. So, I told Brandon not to tip her (but he did anyway. Way to stand up for me again :-)) and we just made fun of it the rest of the night. I just hope she didn't spit in my food too. Hehehe.
Next, we were waiting for the car to be pulled up and this super bombed homeless looking guy cane up to us and started talking to us. We all just stared at him. Briette inched her way behind her husband for protection. You never know if someone is a mean drunk or not. After saying the f word a couple times, it was the only one we could make out, he left us alone. We all rolled our eyes and laughed. Then the drunk guy started crossing the street and almost got hit a couple times. It was crazy.
On to the movie theater! This was the best part. We went into a packed place so we ended up having to sit in the very back. In the middle of the movie, Brett leans over to us and says,"Briette has been sitting next to this teenage couple and they are totally making out." Not just kissing. Full on necking. I whispered really loudly,"tap them on the shoulder and tell them to stop!" They heard me!! Then Briette said she couldn't stop laughing at them and when she looked over next, the girl was staring her down while the guy was sucking on her neck. So nasty. It was pretty funny though. When the movie was over, we raced out of there so they couldn't say anything to us. Haha.
It was a mild adventure but a fun one with a lot of weird stuff that happened. Hands down THE BEST valentines day we've had in a long time. Thanks Petersons!! :-)
