Xander turns 3!

Xander had his first big birthday bash for his 3rd birthday. He had a great time. It was robot themed and all his friends showed up to celebrate. We even got a bouncy house. The weather was perfect and the day couldn't have turned out any better. So grateful to have such a wonderful little boy. :-)

On his actual birthday, we let him open up his present from mom and dad.

Back yard decorated and ready!

There was plenty of candy to go around. I stuffed the piƱata with 6 pounds of it!

I guess he didn't like our singing. lol

He hit the mother load with all the presents he got. Thanks to all his friends!

The Train Museum

Him covering his ears cause it's too loud.

Pulling the Horn

I heard about this Train Museum in Perris a while ago and always wanted to take Xander. So, we were just sitting around wondering what to do when I thought of it again. It was really cool. The weather was perfect and we got to ride on two trains and look at a bunch of old train cars and trolleys. Xander had a lot of fun, but whenever he saw the conductor reach for the horn he would cover his ears and say "it's too loud!". After the ride, the conductor let Xander sit in the driver's seat and play around with the levers. He had Xander blow the horn, but Xander didn't like that part. haha

Liam's First Time at the Beach

We took Liam and Xander down to the beach because it was such a beautiful day. Liam loved the sand! He was so interested in it and wouldn't pay attention to anything else. He would pick it up and let it run through his fingers and grab big handfuls of it. One handful ended up in his mouth. After we got it all cleaned out, he just tried to shovel another big handful in. That's when we decided we were done with the beach for the day and went to the park. lol

Easter

This year we celebrated Easter a day early. We had Brandon's parents and the Hondas over. We smoked some good ribs, made some great bbq beans, and played a lot of fun games. It was a great day.

Ward Easter Egg Hunt

We love going to the Easter Egg Hunt that our ward does every year. Xander always has the best time and gets tons of candy! Even Liam got in on some of the action.

Dying Eggs for Easter

Our friends, The Ellers, invited us over to color eggs this year. It was a lot of fun. Then, the day before Easter, we colored eggs at home for the first time with Xander. He loved it and had a lot of fun putting the eggs into different colors and putting stickers on them.

At the Eller's

We used KoolAid to color the eggs. It smelt great!

Liam's First Cereal

Well, it's that time! Liam finally gets to eat solids. I am half happy and half not wanting to deal with the mess.haha. With Xander, I gave him cereal at 4 months, but Liam was under weight, so the DR. had me wait till he was 6 months to start introducing solids cause they have less calories per ounce. It is kind of weird. I keep thinking Liam should know how to eat by now, but have to remind myself he just started. We are so proud of our little guy. :-)
