Boys Rooms Decorated

Well, I finally did it! I actually got the rooms decorated for Xander and Liam. Xander's room isn't 100% done. There are still two signs I am making to hang above the cars, but it is 99.9% there! I am so grateful for Angie and Ed coming over and helping me paint Xander's room. It would have never gotten done otherwise. I think it turned out pretty good if I do say so myself :-). Liam's room turned out great too. I was also able to finish the boy's Pirate theme bathroom and the downstairs bathroom. I am so excited to have the house looking so different and decorated. It was a lot of work, but a lot of fun too. Plus, once baby Liam is here, there is no way I will be getting much done for a long time! haha

Xander Robot

Xander recently found my seaband wristbands that I bought a long time ago. He begged for me to put them on, so I did and now I can't get them off! I put them on inside out so that the pressure point tab wouldn't bug him. He has decided that they are guns and that he is "Robot Xander" and constantly runs around shooting at things. It is so stinking cute! He even sleeps with them on. Hopefully he lets me take them off soon cause they are getting so dirty and smelly. At least I know what he wants to be for Halloween this year. Today while Dad and Grandpa were moving stuff in the garage, Xander had them put on his play goggles to complete the outfit.

I LOVE THIS!

Last week almost killed us with the heat! We all just lost any appetite that we may have had. So, one day we decided to have ice cream for dinner. Xander had had a late lunch after his nap, so I knew he wasn't going to eat dinner anyway. When we told him that we were going out to dinner, he kept saying "I no want dinner". Then we got to Baskin and Robbins and his little face light up. He was so excited he was going to get an ice cream cone (it is a rare treat for him to get ice cream). After getting our ice cream and sitting down, Xander took a big bite and said "MMMMMMM! I LOVE THIS!". He kept repeating that over and over every time he took a bite. It was the cutest thing ever. I had to take a picture.

My Zucchini is Bigger than Yours!

We always have fun planting a garden each year, and this year is no exception. Last year we had only one zucchini plant and it gave us more than enough. In fact, we were so sick of zucchini I decided to end it's life early by "accidentally" chopping the root of the plant. For some reason this year Brandon decided to plant two. Needless to say that we have had more than we can keep up with. So one hot week went by that we didn't even bother checking the plant to see if any needed to be picked. When we did go to check it, there were three giant zucchini's on one and a couple on the other. Just out of curiosity Brandon decided to leave one on to see how big it would get.

And here it is! Weighing in at a whopping 10.6 pounds and 17 inches long. It is bigger than the baby in my tummy! We were pretty sure it has stopped growing cause it stayed the same size all week. I can't believe that no insects or small creatures haven't taken bites out of it. They must be sick of zucchini too. I am trying to think of something to do with it.

A good way to freak out your Hubby!

The other night I was putting together a shelf. After I was done, I was complaining that my back hurt really badly and needed Brandon's help getting up off the floor. While I had been putting the shelf together, I had a large glass of ice water setting on the ottoman next to me, but completely forgot it was there. So I sat on the ottoman and gasped because a ton of cold water poured out all over my bottom and started running onto the floor. I looked up at Brandon and he was ghost white with this look of horror on his face. Apparently he didn't know the cup was there either and though my water had broken! All he saw when he looked up was me gasping and a ton of water running down from my legs. He told me he was so worried because I wasn't full term yet and he was scared for the baby. Poor guy! Of course I couldn't stop laughing at him. I'd never seen someone look so dreadful.

Maternity Photo Shoot

My friend Briette was sweet enough to take maternity pictures of me. I never got to do it with Xander because I went into labor the day before they were scheduled! So it is fun to do a "first time" thing with this baby. Thanks Briette!

Close but no Cigar

Well, I have been convinced that this baby is way bigger than Xander was, so I finally found the picture Brandon took of me right before I had Xander and compared my tummy to now. We made a bet and I lost! I guess I'm not as big yet, but have two months to go and it looks like I am only just a bit smaller then I was then. I still think this one is way bigger. I wish I had a pic of the same month to compare it to, but I was very careful not to let anyone take pics of me while I was pregers last time. LOL. I hate being wrong. I can't believe I was ever bigger than this cause it already feels like I'm going to explode. :-)
