My Zucchini is Bigger than Yours!

We always have fun planting a garden each year, and this year is no exception. Last year we had only one zucchini plant and it gave us more than enough. In fact, we were so sick of zucchini I decided to end it's life early by "accidentally" chopping the root of the plant. For some reason this year Brandon decided to plant two. Needless to say that we have had more than we can keep up with. So one hot week went by that we didn't even bother checking the plant to see if any needed to be picked. When we did go to check it, there were three giant zucchini's on one and a couple on the other. Just out of curiosity Brandon decided to leave one on to see how big it would get.

And here it is! Weighing in at a whopping 10.6 pounds and 17 inches long. It is bigger than the baby in my tummy! We were pretty sure it has stopped growing cause it stayed the same size all week. I can't believe that no insects or small creatures haven't taken bites out of it. They must be sick of zucchini too. I am trying to think of something to do with it.
