New Floors

We finally saved up enough to get the carpet replaced downstairs!! So, the first thing I had to do to prepare was paint the kitchen cabinets. That was a nightmare because it was so much work and I am pregnant, but after 3 months I finally finished. Then I decided that if we were getting new floors and baseboards, I had to paint any rooms that needed it before cause I didn't want to chance messing up our new stuff. It all turned out really nice, but thinking about how I killed myself to get all of it done, I kind of wish I would have waited till I wasn't pregnant. It would have taken a lot less time and effort :-). But we are really happy to get rid of all that old nasty carpet and love the new floors!
